The “I’ll bust you, doggone snake in the grass” line was replaced with Donald making random noises. Disney has reportedly altered the scene on DVD by replacing “Says who?” with a clip from another cartoon of Donald saying “Aw, nuts.” This sound clip has Pluto barking in the background even though he is not in Clock Cleaners. Some genius thought that Donald was saying “Fuck you” and “son of a bitch” and reportedly had Walmart remove a Disney videotape that had Clock Cleaners on it. Donald says, “Says who?” and the spring replies, “Says I.” Donald then says, “I’ll bust you, doggone snake in the grass” and hits the spring, only to have the spring bounce back and hit Donald. Deleted scene: Santa is approving of dolls by stamping them on their butts.I make it clear if I have not verified something and where my sources come from. UPDATE: I am truly baffled by the amount of content that Disney has edited, and it’s impossible to verify some of these. Who knows? For now, here is everything that Disney is doing a disservice to: Will we see everything else restored as well? What we should all unanimously agree on is that Disney doesn’t deserve to get away with a blatant lie to their customers.ĭisney has since restored Saludos Amigos to include the scene where Goofy is smoking a cigarette. It doesn’t matter whether you’re on the side of film preservation or you believe the removed horrible content doesn’t affect the quality of the program. And content like Santa’s Workshop, Three Little Pigs, Clock Cleaners, Fantasia, The Rescuers, Toy Story 2, and Lilo & Stitch still have edits to them, but they at least don’t carry the new message like Aladdin (1992). “Rather than remove this content, we want to acknowledge its harmful impact, learn from it and spark conversation to create a more inclusive future together.” Disney currently has this message on Aladdin (1992), which is still edited from its original release.
